Minnehaha Parkway

Minneapolis

Park of Minneapolis’s Grand Rounds Scenic Byway , winds through south Minneapolis along Minnehaha Creek from the south end of Lake Harriet to Minnehaha Falls park. The banks of the creek were once home to Mdewakanton communities and later flour mills. The creek is now lined with some of the most desirable homes in the city.

The parkway features both bike and pedestrian trails in addition to the roadway, as well as the lush tree canopy and grassy lawns and playfields.
